Circle Conversations

Smiling group of women, arms crossed, in modern office setting

Circle Conversations is a women's support group created by Fero Financial for any woman who wants to talk honestly about life and what matters most. You do not need to be a client, just willing to show up. At its heart, Circle Conversations is about intentional living: pausing to reflect and connect with community instead of moving through life on autopilot.

What Is a Circle Conversation?

A Circle Conversation is a small, facilitated gathering where women explore a single topic in depth. Rather than a lecture or a slide presentation, participants ask each other intentional questions, journal, and sit with their own thoughts before sharing them out loud. For many, it becomes a steady outlet for personal growth for women navigating any kind of change.

A Circle Conversation is not:

A seminar or financial workshop

A networking event

A sales pitch of any kind

Instead, it is built around meaningful conversations: the kind where listening carries as much weight as speaking, and where a woman can say something true without worrying how it sounds. This is less a single event and more an ongoing women's support group, one small act of intentional living at a time.

The Story Behind Circle Conversations

Rebekah J. Fero, CFP®, AIF® — headshot

Rebekah Fero, the founder of Fero Financial, did not build Circle Conversations from a marketing plan. She built it after living through one herself.

“One of the most meaningful experiences I have had recently was participating in a Circle called Defining Enough,” Becky says. “What surprised me most was this: I had never, in all my years, truly defined what enough meant in any area of my life.”

Because she had never defined it, Becky found herself doing what so many people do: quietly moving the goalposts. Each time she reached what felt like enough, it shifted again, just out of reach, like a horizon that keeps retreating.

Inside that Circle, something changed. Every woman carried a different story, yet the same threads ran through all of them: authenticity, humility, and being seen without judgment. That afternoon became the seed for Circle Conversations, born out of Becky's own attempt at intentional living and her discovery that women supporting women is not a slogan but the entire point.

What to Expect at a Circle Conversation

The Format

Each Circle stays small by design, usually a handful of women rather than a crowded room. A facilitator offers a few intentional questions, then steps back and lets the group take the conversation wherever it needs to go, with time for both journaling and open discussion.

The Atmosphere

Nobody is expected to arrive with the right answer, because Circle Conversations were never about answers. Confidentiality is respected, which makes room for the kind of intentional living that only happens once women feel safe enough to speak honestly.

Bringing a Friend

Personal growth for women often goes deeper alongside someone who already knows your story. That's part of why Becky encourages bringing a friend. Reflecting on it together afterward often extends the value well past the gathering itself.

Who Circle Conversations Are For

Circle Conversations welcomes women at every stage of life, not only those approaching retirement or already working with a financial planner. You are welcome whether you are:

Rebuilding after a hard year

Newly retired and searching for new purpose

In the middle of a big transition

Simply looking to connect with community and talk more honestly

No financial background is required, and neither is a prior relationship with Fero Financial. This is not a service, a pitch, or a lead-in to a sales conversation. Whether you want a women's support group after a hard season or simply more honest conversation, Circle Conversations offers that kind of personal growth for women, ideally alongside women supporting women rather than facing it all alone.

Fero Financial calls this way of showing up for your whole life an Intentional Ark, and Circle Conversations is one more room inside that same house. Intentional living looks different for every woman who walks through the door, but it starts the same way: showing up and being willing to talk.

Reserve Your Spot

New Circle Conversations are scheduled throughout the year on topics like resilience and navigating major transitions. Because each gathering stays small, Fero Financial holds spots first come, first served, and space fills quickly.

While the calendar is being finalized, women can reach out to ferofinancial@lpl.com to ask about the next available Circle Conversation, an easy first step toward more intentional living.
